Christ The King Church
Christ the King Church has received endorsement from the Bishop Emerson Moore of the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New York, Monseigneur Robert-Casimir Tonyui Messan Dosseh-Anyron the late Archibishop of Lomé, and Reverend Father Benedict Amegan Kokou Delagnon parish priest of the Archdiocese of Lomé.
"The Christian community of the Dalave, Christ the King Catholic Church is one of the largest secondary stations of the Mother Parish of St. John the Apostle. It is composed of more than 900 faithful. They continue to celebrate the Holy Eucharist under a shed that does not withstand bad weather. The precautious condition pushes some of the faithful towards smaller religious communities that we call sects which are heavily financed by some international bodies.
The Delave Catholic community mobilized themselves to build a church worthy of its name..."
Reverend Father Benedict Amegan Kokou Delagnon
Parish Priest, Archdiocese of Lomé
"The people of Delave are in desparate need of a place of worship and any assistance... would be greatly appreciated."
Bishop Emerson Moore
